Krista McMasters, chief executive officer of Wauwatosa-based Clifton Gunderson LLP, was recently awarded the 2010-11 WICPA Distinguished Career Award for her professional accomplishments and for her dedicated service to the WICPA and local community. In addition, Kelly Sics, CPA at Clifton Gunderson, has received the 2010-11 WICPA Outstanding Young Professional Award for her enthusiasm for the profession, for her involvement with the WICPA.

Richard Alley joined 13 other people as a partner in Clifton Gunderson’s Wauwatosa office and Jens Emerson and Scott Hess have been named partners for the firm’s Racine office.

Advertising and public relations

EPIC Creative, West Bend, recently added Derek Keyeski, videographer; Sheri Kirchoff, SEO and web marketing specialist; Ryan Lerch, programmer; Gregory Shutters, junior graphic designer; and Heather Zopf, project manager, to its staff.

Milwaukee-based 7Summits has added John Larson as enterprise architect. Larson has more than 25 years of experience in system architecture and development across a wide range of technologies. Prior to joining 7Summits, Larson was a technical director at Whittmanhart Interactive.

Banking and finance

Milwaukee-based Geneva Capital Management Ltd. has added Nicholas Bauer in the newly created position of director of institutional sales and marketing. Derek Pawlak became a principal of the firm.

Bank Mutual has added Jenefer Kind to the position of vice president of bank operations at the company’s corporate headquarters in Brown Deer.

Xiong Lee has joined CB Investment Services as the investment specialist, serving the Sheboygan area. Lee comes to CB Investment Services after working as the client service consultant with Wells Fargo Advantage Funds.

Health care

Anne Murray has been promoted to director of Med-Health Financial Services, a for-profit subsidiary of Children’s Hospital and Health System and the largest health care collection agency in southeast Wisconsin. Murray joined Med-Health Financial Services as operations manager in 2005.

Manufacturing

Weldall Mfg. Inc., Waukesha, has added Don Young, and Zack Damuth to its outside sales team. Peter Welty, long-time outside sales manager, has announced his retirement.

Harley-Davidson Inc., Milwaukee, has named Joanne Bischmann vice president of communications. Bischmann joined Harley Davidson in 1990 and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of internal and external communications for the organization.

Nonprofit

Waukesha-based The Management Association (MRA) announced its 2010-11 board of directors. Lawrence Moon will continue as chairman of the board and Todd Teske as vice chairman. Frederick Anderson, president and CEO of Wenthe-Davison Engineering Co. will serve as treasurer. Three new directors have also joined the board including: Paul Diamond, vice president of Addus Health care; Dana Schroeder, owner of Productive Living Systems Inc.; and Christine Specht, president and chief operating officer of Cousins Submarines Inc.

Professional organizations

The League of United Latin American Citizens of Wisconsin recently elected its 2010-11 state leadership. The newly elected officials include: Darryl Morin, state director; Maria Castrejon-Perez, state treasurer; Jessica Cavazos, deputy state director for women’s activities; Norris Jones, deputy state director for young adults; Jose Palacios, deputy state director for youth; Guadalupe Rodriguez, state secretary; and Luis Garza, state legal advisor.

Senior living communities

Dee Ramsel, William Pickering, Dale Kirchner and Marilyn Lange have been elected to the Wauwatosa-based United Lutheran Program for the Aging board of directors. Rev. David Keller serves as president and CEO. In addition, Rev. Meredith Bedker Musaus and William Schulz became new members of the board.
