Neil Keller, tax shareholder, was promoted to the position of tax department chair at Kolb+Co. S.C., Brookfield. Keller succeeds Mark Miller, tax shareholder, in this position. Miller served as the tax department chair for more than 10 years. He stepped away from this role in order to devote more time to client service and practice development.

Zizzo Group Marketing + PR + New Media, Milwaukee, has added Marie Huynh to its new media team as development manager. Prior to joining Zizzo Group, Huynh worked as a freelancer, building websites for several local businesses. She also briefly taught high school physics, astronomy and general science in the Milwaukee area.

Banking & Finance

Bank Mutual has named James Flanagan vice president of commercial banking. Flanagan has more than 25 years of commercial banking experience. Gregory Larson was named senior vice president and director of commercial banking, and Jennifer Walczak was hired as a commercial banking representative. The three new employees will be based at Bank Mutual’s Commercial Banking Center at 2600 N. Mayfair Road, Wauwatosa.

Waukesha State Bank promoted Carla Bodway to bank manager at its Delafield location. Bodway started her career at Waukesha State Bank in 1999 as a co-op teller while a student at Pewaukee High School, and after a brief move out of the area, returned to the Bank’s Pewaukee Office in 2005 as an assistant teller supervisor and personal banker.

Provident Trust Company, Waukesha, has added Tom Tuttle to the firm as vice president. Tuttle has more than 19 years of legal, trust, and wealth management experience.

Wells Fargo Private Bank has added Carol Steinke to its Milwaukee team as senior client associate. Steinke formerly worked in the private client reserve group at U.S. Bank.

Chambers of Commerce

Mary Steinbrecher, director of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) Council of Small Business Executives (COSBE), was recently elected to the board of directors of the Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Executives Association.

Consulting

Market Probe, a market research and consulting organization based in Wauwatosa, has added Don Ryan as vice president of its Technology Practice. Ryan has more than 20 years of experience in using market data to formulate marketing recommendations.

Education

Judi Murphy, senior vice president of public relations and strategic alliances at Murphy Associates in Brookfield, was recently appointed to the small business advisory board at the Waukesha County Technical College Small Business Center. She has more than 20 years of marketing, sales management, corporate and personal branding experience.

Health Care

Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare recently added three new executives to its staff. Marc Cohen has been named the executive director of Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare’s Foundation for St. Francis and Franklin hospitals. Linda Denison Bub has been named the new director of Senior Health. Mark Herder has been named the new vice president of revenue operations for Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare in Southeast Wisconsin.

Dr. Donald Basel, has been appointed assistant professor of pediatrics at The Medical College of Wisconsin and to the medical staff of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa.

Dr. Jeffrey Jackson, has been appointed professor of medicine at The Medical College of Wisconsin and to the medical staff of the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in West Allis. Jackson comes to the Medical College from Washington D.C., where he was professor of medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.

Legal Services

Godfrey & Kahn S.C., has named Brett Koeller and Patrick Murphy shareholders in the firm. Koeller is a member of the corporate practice group in the firm’s Milwaukee office and has been with Godfrey & Kahn since 2002. Murphy is a member of the banking and financial institutions practice group in the firm’s Milwaukee office and has been with Godfrey & Kahn since 2003.

Von Briesen & Roper, S.C., Milwaukee, recently added Bryan Becker as a shareholder and James Wawrzyn as an associate to its firm. Becker will be a shareholder in the Banking, Bankruptcy, Business Restructuring and Real Estate Practice Group, and Wawrzyn has joined the Business Practice Group as an associate.

The Defense Research Institute has elected Godfrey & Kahn attorney Douglas Poland as vice chair of the DRI Toxic Torts & Environmental Law Committee. DRI is an international organization of attorneys defending the interests of business and individuals in civil litigation. Poland is a shareholder and member of Godfrey & Kahn’s litigation practice group. He focuses his practice on the defense of complex litigation, with emphasis on toxic tort, product liability, environmental and consumer fraud lawsuits.

Davis & Kuelthau, S.C. has added John Domaszek as a litigation associate in its Milwaukee office. Domaszek he has experience in the areas of construction, professional liability and business and commercial litigation.

Spee-Dee Packaging Machinery Inc., Sturtevant, has added Adam Mulder to the company’s sales team as sales administrator.

Cannella Response Television of Burlington has added Donna Pickett as vice president of performance-based media. Pickett is a 24-year direct marketing veteran and formally worked as a DRTB industry consultant. Prior to opening her consulting practice, Pickett spent 21 years at Time Life, now known as Direct Holdings.

Nonprofit

Larry Gebhard, manager with Winter, Kloman, Moter & Repp, S.C., Milwaukee was recently recognized for his eight years of volunteer service to the Wisconsin Chapter of the March of Dimes.

Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity has hired Brian Sonderman as its new executive director. Sonderman, a CPA, formerly served as pastor at Metrobrook Church in Milwaukee.

Professional Services

Selig Leasing Company Inc. recently hired Bob Espich, senior sales executive, and Vince Nicols, sales executive, in its fleet sales division. Combined, they have more than 40 years of experience in sales, sales management and account management.

Royal Recognition Inc., Muskego, has promoted Daniel Cull to midwest regional sales manager. Cull previously worked as a sales representative. He will now be in charge of managing and developing the current and future sales offices throughout the Midwest. He has been with the company for four years.

Real Estate

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has added several agents to its Milwaukee area offices. Real estate agents Simon Margulius and Carlos Betancourt have joined Coldwell’s downtown office, Libra Linton was added as an agent in the firm’s Mequon office and Nick Janasik recently joined the North Shore office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, located in Glendale.

Thomas Humpa recently rejoined the Shorewest Realtors Southridge Office, located at 5111 S. 76th St., in Greendale. Humpa has more than two years of real estate experience and specializes in the greater Milwaukee County area. Terri Wonn joined the Shorewest, Realtors Lake Country Office, 1296 Summit Ave. in Oconomowoc. She has more than six years of real estate and new-home building experience and specializes in the greater Lake Country and Waukesha County areas.

Technology

Fiserv Inc., Brookfield, has hired Mark Ernst as executive vice president and chief operating officer. Ernst, most recently worked as the deputy commissioner for operations support for the IRS.

Tushaus Computer Services, Milwaukee, has added Brendan West as a talent acquisition specialist. West has experience recruiting IT talent, most recently working as a corporate recruiter for Core BTS in Madison. Jay Steinmetz has re-joined the company as a client IT director, dedicated to the strategic leadership and management of Tushaus’ clients’ information technology needs. Steinmetz previously worked for Tushaus as a network engineer, and most recently served as the IT director for Oncology Alliance in Wauwatosa.

RF Technologies, Brookfield, has hired Greg Wingrove as vice president of corporate accounts. He most recently served as vice president of corporate accounts, Ortho Americas, for Tennessee-based Smith & Nephew Inc.
