Child Care Services

Kessha Hobson has been named center coordinator and Kaye Linske has been named assistant center coordinator for Ebenezer Child Care Centers’ Southside Milwaukee location at 1496 S. 29th St. Prior to joining Ebenezer, Hobson ran a certified family home day care and worked at Rockwell Automation as a human resource analyst/EEO coordinator. For the past 14 years, Linskey ran her own in-home family child care service.

Education

Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon, has named Jasen Wise as the new men’s head hockey coach. Wise was a player and team captain at the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota and has coached at Marian University in Fond du Lac for the last 13 years.

Mt. Mary College, Milwaukee, has named three new members to its board of trustees. Board members each serve a three-year term. The new members are: Michael Arnow, senior director of financial planning for SJA Financial Advisory; Veronica Gunn, medical director, community services for Children’s Hospital & Health Systems and Linda Marcus owner and designer of Linda Marcus Design.

Everest College in Milwaukee has named Sonia Riecan as director of career services and Danielle Schewe as director of admissions. Schewe previously served as admissions manager for Corinthian Colleges.

Engineering

Matthew Bednarski has joined the infrastructure group of Milwaukee-based Graef. He has 16 years of consulting experience in the roles of water resources technical lead and project manager.

K. Singh & Associates Inc., Elm Grove, has named Yoon-moon Chun and Matt Beyer as project engineers. Chun is a structural engineer with seven years of experience in structural design including bridges, retaining walls and box culverts. Beyer has six years of experience in construction management with projects consisting of buildings and bridges. In addition, Ajay Singh and Gust Junttila have joined the firm as staff engineers.

Health Care

Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa, has appointed Dr. David Gregg, medical director of imaging. Gregg also is an assistant professor and vice chief of pediatric radiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Gregg earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa.

Dr. Kristen Holland has been appointed medical director of dermatology at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Holland is a pediatric dermatologist at Children’s Hospital. She also is an assistant professor of dermatology at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Rhonda Struck has been named vice president of quality and patient safety for Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, Glendale. Struck comes to Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare from the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics where she served as director of operational integration and nursing informatics.

Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare has also added Vintee Sawhney as the philanthropy associate for the central market at the Foundation for St. Francis and Franklin. She previously was with the Hudson Highland Legal Group. In addition, Chris Wiken has joined the board of directors for the Foundation for St. Francis and Franklin. Wiken has been the general manager at his family’s restaurant, The Packing House, on Layton Avenue in Milwaukee since September of 2010.

Dr. Christopher Deyo has been appointed assistant professor of anesthesiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He provides care at Froedtert Hospital, Wauwatosa, and Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, Milwaukee. Prior to joining the Medical College faculty, Deyo completed a fellowship in critical care anesthesia at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals.

Potawatomi Bingo Casino in Milwaukee has named Kelly Skindzelewski its public relations director. Skindzelewski has been with the casino as public affairs manager since 2007. She has more than 20 years of communications and public relations experience, including serving as community affairs director at WITI-TV FOX 6, public relations director for Banc One Wisconsin Corp. and public relations director for the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee.

Insurance

Zachary Buth has joined Burkwald & Associates, Pewaukee, as a benefits consultant. Buth has more than 14 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Mike Thill has been promoted to team manager-information systems at Sheboygan-based Acuity. He has been with the organization for nearly 13 years and has held positions of increasing responsibility throughout his tenure, most recently as point person on the ASIST team.

Godfrey & Kahn S.C., recently announced that Andrea Cataldo has joined its corporate practice group in the Milwaukee office. Prior to joining Godfrey & Kahn, Cataldo was an attorney at Meissner Tierney Fisher & Nichols S.C., where she focused her practice on various transactional matters, including corporate and business organization and governance; mergers, acquisitions and business transactions; tax law and succession planning.
In addition, Gerald Kahn, founding partner of Godfrey & Kahn S.C. was honored with the 2012 Lifetime Achievement Award at the Wisconsin Law Journal’s Leaders in the Law awards ceremony. Honorees were selected for this distinction based on a wide variety of achievement criteria, including outstanding leadership, vision and legal expertise in Wisconsin’s law community. Kahn was both an attorney and a certified public accountant. He focused his practice on estate planning, corporate and tax law.

Spancrete Global Services, Waukesha, has hired Nicholas Passint as senior research and development/design engineer. Passint comes to Spancrete Global Services from Pflow Industries Inc. where he was the head product engineer.

Trostel Ltd., Lake Geneva, has named Jay Longbottom chief executive officer of the company, which is a manufacturer of custom seals, precision molded rubber products and custom rubber compounds. Trostel is a subsidiary of Milwaukee-based Everett Smith Group. Longbottom previously served as CEO and president of Haldex AB, a provider of innovative solutions to the global commercial vehicle industry.

Steve Davis joined Aurora Health Care Foundation, Milwaukee, as director of planned giving. He has more than 25 years of experience and expertise to his new role having served as a legacy advisor for individuals, families and business owners. Previously, Davis was director of gift planning for Wycliffe Foundation in Orlando, Fla.

Daniel Pecanac has joined the Milwaukee office of Willis of Wisconsin as an employee benefits producer.

PDC Midwest Inc., Hartland, has hired Lana Bates as an interior design associate,  Thomas Abel as construction manager and Robert Olin as assistant project manager.

Milwaukee-based Prolitec Inc., a global provider of ambient scenting technology and services, has named Todd Shaw vice president of operations. Shaw comes to Prolitec with more than 17 years of experience in operations and logistics management. Most recently, he was senior vice president of facility services and logistics at XE Services, LLC, a defense industry company, in Moycock N.C., directing 12 departments with more than 400 employees and contractors, and overseeing a 7,000-acre campus with more than 90 structures.

Skyline Technologies Inc., Pewaukee, has named Julia Wort to the company as a business development manager. Wort has more than 20 years of sales and business development experience. She most recently worked at Genesis 10 as a managing director and was responsible for new business development.
