Deleavan-based Signalfire LLC has named Alison Rudig as its new digital content manager. Rudig joins the team as the part-time digital content manager. Prior to joining Signalfire, Rudig freelance developed websites and wrote for the Royal Purple News newspaper at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Milwaukee-based Zizzo Group Marketing+PR+New Media has hired Rebecca Rick as a writer in the firm’s creative department. Rick previously worked as the marketing director at an independent Milwaukee area bookshop. Carly Schroder has also joined Zizzo Group as an account executive with the integrated marketing department.

Terry Dirkse has been named assistant vice president retail lending at Community Bank & Trust’s Sheboygan Falls and Plymouth offices. Dirkse has been with Community Bank & Trust for more than 10 years and has more than 39 years of experience in the banking industry.

New England Financial/The Wisconsin Group, Brookfield, announced that Eric Ruh has joined the organization as a managing associate. He will manage the firm’s business performance. He has worked in the financial services industry for 19 years.

J.P. Cullen & Sons Inc., Brookfield, announced that Larry Rocole, vice president of the Milwaukee Division, and Shannon Metoxen, senior project manager, have earned the designation of Certified Healthcare Construction. The CHC is a national credential that verifies they have met educational and professional experience requirements, and through a rigorous examination process have mastered a well-defined body of knowledge considered important to competent practice in today’s health care field.

The Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care has announced that the 2012 recipient of the Callon-Leonard Award is Dr. Dennis Worthington, chief of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, Glendale. He is also a clinical professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and past president of the Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care.

The BTI Consulting Group has named five Foley & Lardner LLP attorneys to its 2012 Client Service All-Star Team. Attorneys named BTI Client Service All-Stars are regarded as having a keen understanding of business issues, thought-leading approaches to legal services and total commitment to client needs based on unprompted feedback from nearly 250 corporate counsels at Fortune 1000 companies. Foley is one of only four law firms to have five attorneys recognized. Godfrey & Kahn, S.C., Milwaukee, announced that shareholder Danielle Machata has been named a 40 Under 40 award winner in the Central Region by The M&A Advisor. The 2012 40 Under 40 award recognizes emerging leaders of the mergers and acquisitions, financing and turnaround industries as selected by an independent judging panel of distinguished business leaders. Machata is a shareholder in the firm’s Milwaukee office, a member of the Corporate Practice Group and co-chairperson of its recruiting committee. She focuses her practice primarily on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures and sophisticated commercial transactions.

Milwaukee-based Athea Laboratories, a manufacturer and private labeler of specialty chemicals and wet wipes, has hired John Patton as regional manager. Patton will service current and new distributors in Wisconsin, Illinois, and northern Indiana.

Stillwaters Cancer Support Services has appointed Vicki Lipinski to marketing and fund development director. She has an extensive background in marketing and communications, fundraising and non-profit involvement. She has served various roles in non-profit organizations including the Milwaukee Jewish Federation and UWM Foundation. She also worked as sales and marketing coordinator for Procorp Enterprises LLC.

Ewald Fleet Solutions, Brookfield, has named Michael Zalas regional director business development. Zalas joins the Ewald team with extensive experience in fleet management.

Real Estate

Betsy Van Horn has been named the new sales director of the Shorewest Realtors Northshore Office in Shorewood. The Northshore Office has 69 licensed sales associates. Van Horn has more than 13 years of experience, starting her real estate career at Coldwell Banker. In 2002, she joined Shorewest Realtors. In 2006, she became the associate sales director of the Northshore Office.

Senior Living Communities

Milwaukee senior living community Eastcastle Place has promoted Dawn Jacques to director of social services. Jacques joined the staff in August as a social worker for both Eastcastle Place and sister community Newcastle Place in Mequon. She has more than 18 years of social work experience, including six years working with seniors.

Sports and Recreation

Derek Duprey has been named general manager for Wisconsin Athletic Club’s North Shore and downtown locations. This is the first time in the club’s 36 year history that one person has been named general manager of two locations.

Technology

John Howman has joined Pewaukee-based CC&N’s board of directors. Howman has more than 20 years of technology industry experience and previously grew his own company to become one of the largest computer sales and service organizations in the Midwest.
