Kelly Arduino, health care director of financial advisory services with Wauwatosa-based Wipfli LLP, has been appointed the co-chair of the Capital Options Committee, a new committee created by the National Rural Health Association. The NRHA, an organization with a membership of more than 25,000 members that represents the interests of over 73 million Americans living in rural areas, recognized the difficulties that health care organizations are having with accessing capital. The committee was established to address such concerns – its mission is to improve access to capital for rural health care infrastructure.

Milwaukee-based social business agency 7Summits has named Cullen O’Brien as vice president of account services. O’Brien joins 7Summits with 15 years of digital marketing experience. Most recently he served as vice president of Fullhouse, an independent marketing agency, where he led digital, social media and experiential marketing programs for clients such as MillerCoors and Kimberly-Clark.

Menomonee Falls-based Russ Darrow Group has named Igor Golovin as general manager of Russ Darrow Nissan, 9201 W. Brown Deer Road, in Milwaukee. Golovin began his career with Russ Darrow Group in 2003 and has more than 20 years of experience in automotive sales and management.

Banking & Finance

Waukesha State Bank announced that it has named Aaron Frank the new bank manager of its Pewaukee office on Capitol Drive. Frank began his career at Waukesha State Bank in September 2000 as a teller, and has held a number of positions including teller supervisor and personal banker. In 2007, he was promoted to bank manager of the Meadowbrook Road office in Waukesha.

Racine-based Johnson Bank has named Jackie Ruppel assistant vice president, branch manager for the bank’s Brookfield office. Ruppel began her career in 2003 and most recently served as branch manager – assistant vice president for BMO Harris Bank’s Brookfield office. She has also held a progressive series of management roles in other communities including Green Bay, Kenosha, Racine and Milwaukee.

Building & Construction

Luke Myers has joined Kelmann Property Restoration, Wauwatosa, as scheduling coordinator. Myers has held positions in property management, including coordinating building services, payroll and scheduling of employees.

Community Centers

The Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center, Milwaukee, has added Michael Bortin in customer service and room reservations and Angela Siegesmund in customer service and registrations.

Education

Rochelle Regenauer was named executive director of centers and accelerated programs for Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon.

Alverno College has named Sebastian Thachenkary as director of marketing and communications. Thachenkary has more than 20 years of strategic marketing, branding and communications experience. Prior to joining Alverno, he served as vice president of marketing communications for Johnson Financial Group.

The University of Wisconsin-Parkside, Kenosha, has appointed John Jaraczewski as assistant chancellor for university relations and advancement. Jaraczewski, who currently serves as executive director of United Stationers Charitable Foundation, begins his new duties at the end of March. He will report directly to Chancellor Debbie Ford. Jaraczewski has served as executive director of the Deerfield, Ill.-based United Stationers Charitable Foundation since 2008.

Government

Gov. Scott Walker appointed W. Richard Chiapete to district attorney for Racine County. Chiapete graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in business administration in 1987 before obtaining his law degree from Marquette University in 1991. He went on to practice law for almost 21 years in both civil and criminal courts. He joined the Racine County District Attorney’s office in December of 1998 and was promoted to deputy district attorney in 2005.

The City of Milwaukee Housing Authority has named Crystal Reed-Hardy a human resources manager. Reed-Hardy has more than 14 years of experience in human resources and organizational leadership to her position.

Health Care

Dr. Staci Milosavljevic, has been appointed assistant professor of cardiovascular medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa. She sees patients at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee. Milosavljevic’s clinical interests include consultative cardiology and cardiac imaging, including transesophageal and stress echocardiography. Prior to joining the Medical College faculty, Milosavljevic served a cardiovascular medicine fellowship through the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals.

Milwaukee-based Extendicare Health Services Inc. has hired Geetali Sinha as application developer II in the company’s IT department. Additionally, Anne Broda and Ben Biley have joined Virtual Care Provider Inc., a subsidiary of Extendicare Health Services, as account manager and network engineer, respectively.

Dr. Rowena Punzalan, has been appointed assistant professor of pediatrics hematology/oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa. She sees patients at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa. Punzalan’s clinical interests include thrombosis in children, bleeding disorders, and immune cytopenia, a deficiency in healthy blood cells due to an immune system reaction or to some medicines like heparin. In addition to this appointment, Punzalan continues her work as a medical director at the BloodCenter of Wisconsin.

The Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, owned and managed by Milwaukee-based Marcus Hotels & Resorts, has promoted Michael Sawin to the position of executive chef. Sawin originally began working at the resort as a sous chef in 2009, after spending more than 30 years in the hospitality industry. In his new position, Sawin will direct the daily culinary operations of the Grand Geneva Resort’s nine restaurants, including the Geneva ChopHouse Restaurant and Ristoranté Brissago.

Milwaukee-based Marcus Theatres has hired Mark Grimes as director of food and beverage. Grimes will oversee and assist with the expansion of the company’s food and beverage operations including its Zaffiro’s restaurants, Big Screen Bistro in-theatre dining and various lounge concepts. Prior to joining Marcus Theatres, Grimes worked for the Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans as the executive sous chef, and later at The American Club in Kohler.

Dedicated Computing, a Waukesha-based designer and manufacturer of purpose-specific computer platforms for original equipment manufacturers and independent software vendors, has hired Bilal Khan as chief technology officer. Khan comes to the company with more than 15 years of technical leadership experience, most recently leading the R&D/engineering activities for Nokia Siemens Networks, formerly Motorola Inc. Khan had responsibility for managing all phases of software engineering projects as part of their cellular networks technology.

Real Estate

Brookfield-based MLG Capital has promoted Craig Lashley to principal. Lashley was promoted due to his performance as the vice president of investments for the firm. He joined MLG as an investment analyst in early 2006.

Real estate agent Jeannie Lynch Silvernale recently joined the Cedarburg office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. Silvernale comes back to Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage after a hiatus from the real estate business. Real estate agent Sally Lewin also recently joined the West Bend office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. Lewin comes to Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage as a new agent.

Bob Gintoft has been hired as senior commercial real estate associate at Milwaukee-based Ogden & Company Inc. He most recently served as business developer for Impact Seven Inc.

Steve Beaudry has joined Technology Resource Advisors Inc., Milwaukee, as director of physical security integration. Beaudry has a background in law enforcement as well as the design and implementation of physical security systems.

Franklin-based Advanced Wireless Inc., has added Jeff Arps, Adam Case and Michael Dietz to its business development team. The three will focus on developing customer partnerships in the retail, manufacturing and distribution vertical markets.
