Mark DeBroux, Steve Franke and Lonnie Hampton have been named shareholders of Appleton-based Schenck S.C. DeBroux serves on Schenck’s Health Service Team. He has provided accounting, tax planning, consulting and administration services to various independent health care providers throughout Wisconsin and upper Michigan. Franke will serve as a co-leader for Schenk’s Real Estate and Construction Team and as a member on the Manufacturing Team. He has specialized in providing financial statement audit and accounting services for 20 years with an expertise in leading audits in the construction industry. Hampton serves as a leader of the International Tax team, supervising and reviewing corporate, individual and partnership tax returns.

Ben Hannemann has been hired as account planner at Boelter + Lincoln Marketing Communications in Milwaukee. He was most recently the director of communications strategy at Versant Marketing Communications.

John Griffith has been hired as senior vice president of Foundations Bank, Pewaukee. Griffith has 23 years of experience in the banking industry and previously worked at Johnson Bank. In addition to his new role, he will oversee Mortgage and Consumer Lending.

Gus Hernandez, Jr. has been appointed senior vice president, commercial banking manager at Johnson Bank. He will work in Milwaukee and will coordinate Johnson Bank’s commercial banking function for the city by collaborating with other commercial banks in the Milwaukee region. Hernandez has more than 25 years of experience in commercial banking and recently served as commercial banking manager at BMO Harris Bank, Florida.

Timothy Wallen has been appointed to the board of directors of First Business Bank, Milwaukee. Wallen has been principal and chief executive officer of MLG, Wisconsin’s largest commercial real estate firm, since 2000. He serves on the board of directors and is an officer for the MLG Family of Companies including MLG Capital, MLG Development, Advisors, MLG Management and NAI MLG Commercial.

Sandy Swartzberg has been appointed to the advisory board at Waukesha County Economic Development Corporation (WCEDC). Swartzberg currently works for Weiss Berzowski Brady LLP, a supporter of WCEDC.

Linda Mallwitz has been hired as marketing executive for Strategic Marketing Partners in Milwaukee. Marcia Whittington has been named vice president for institutional advancement at Edgewood College, located in Madison. She has worked in development and fundraising for 20 years, with 14 years of experience in the nonprofit community in Madison. Stephanie Allewalt Hacker has been hired as a senior planner at GRAEF, a Milwaukee-based engineering firm. She has more than 10 years of experience working in urban revitalization, planning and economic development. In her new role, she will provide urban planning and design services to GRAEF’s business, nonprofit and government clients.

Andy Brophy is now the group leader of E3 Group, LLC in Pewaukee. He will be responsible for managing consulting.

Dr. Carlos Arce-Lara has been appointed to assistant professor of medicine (hematology/oncology) at the Medical College of Wisconsin. In his new role, he will also meet with patients at Froedert Hospital. Arce-Lara has interests in lung cancer and multiple myeloma and was most recently a clinical instructor at The Ohio State Medical Center James Cancer Center.

Dr. Amy Irene Guise has rejoined the Medical College of Wisconsin as assistant urology professor after spending a year practicing in Alaska. Guise, who specializes in treating kidney stones, will also see patients at Froedert Hospital and Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center.

Dr. Jay Sandlow has been elected president-elect of the American Society of Andrology. He will begin his new position in April and will become the society’s president a year later. Sandlow is currently vice chairman and professor of urology at Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). He specializes in male infertility at Froedtert Hospital, the Zablocki V.A. Medical Center, St. Joseph’s Hospital in West Bend and Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls. He also works as director of the male infertility and andrology fellowship program in MCW’s department of urology.

Dr. Valerie Lyon, pediatric dermatologist, has joined the Madison Medical Affiliates practice roster. She will see patients ranging from newborns to 21 year olds at Grafton Medical Center.

Jim Enright has been named vice president of sales and business development and Gary Hovila has been appointed vice president of product development at Health Payment Systems in Milwaukee. Enright will work to increase sales and revenue while Hovila will work with new product offerings. They both are co-founders of Trilogy Health Insurance in Brookfield.

HNI, New Berlin, recently promoted two employees and hired one. Lara Wall has been hired as an account manager, and Nicole Hinkley has been promoted to an account manager position. They are responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships within HNI’s property and casual insurance practice in the transportation department. Debbie Erwin has been promoted to account executive in which she will build relationships and lead customer service within the transportation department.

Partners Mutual Insurance Company, Waukesha, has added Suzanne Chrisemer as vice president, underwriting.

Kyle Flanagan and Christopher Kriva have joined Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren S.C.’s Milwaukee office. Flanagan serves as an attorney for the Business Law Practice, working with transactional functions and providing solutions. He advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracting and corporate finance and also counsels clients on intellectual property protection, risk management issues and general business planning. John W. Mellowes has been promoted to chief executive officer of Mequon-based Charter Manufacturing and Charles A. Mellowes has been promoted to board chairman. They will be assisting their father and current chairman and chief executive officer, John A. Mellowes, as he steps down from his duties in July.

Jason Williams is the new national account manager at Wixon, based in St. Francis. In his new role, Williams will work with accounts by overseeing implementation of strategic initiatives, account relations, management of new products and employment of sales growth plans. Williams has 14 years of sales experience in the food industry and previously worked for Industrial Products as a regional account manager.

Robert Nordstrom has been hired as a program engineer at TLX Technologies, Pewaukee. He has more than 15 years of experience working in the auto industry.

Discover Magazine, Waukesha, has hired Dan Bishop as design director and Becky Lang as senior associate editor. Bishop formerly served as art director of Fresh Home and Healthy Cooking at the Reader’s Digest Association. He has more than 20 years of design experience in publications. Lang most recently served as the health and science editor at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for about 13 years.

Milwaukee-based Layton Boulevard West Neighbors has promoted Will Sebern to director of fund development and communications and has also hired Brianna Perez as community outreach manager. In his new role, Sebern will oversee grant writing, fundraising and communications activities. He has more than nine years of experience in the fields of government, community and nonprofits. In her new position, Perez will promote home buying and implement other community improvement initiatives in the Silver City, Burnham Park and Layton Park neighborhoods.

Noach Jubelirer has been hired as the community planner at Milwaukee Jewish Federation, located in Milwaukee. Jubelirer will allocate Federation funds to Jewish agencies and identify funding needs with local and overseas partner agencies. Prior to joining Milwaukee Jewish Federation, he served as director of admissions and outreach at Milwaukee Jewish Day School.

Tim Dotson is now director of facilities and maintenance services at Irgens, which is based in Milwaukee, Chicago and Phoenix. Dotson’s responsibilities include managing facilities and operations within the company’s budget and business plans, implementing programs and projects to maximize the use and efficiency of facility operations through return-on-investment analyses, and employing management-directed strategies that add to asset value and efficient operation of all facilities. Dotsen was previously involved in facility management at Johnson Controls.
