Zimmerman Architectural Studios Inc., of Milwaukee, promoted both Mark Wershay and Scott Gosnell to vice president. Wershay has worked for the firm since 1997 and has largely focused on serving as project manager for K-12, higher education and training center structures. He also was project manager for major improvements on Henry Maier Festival Park and managed the firm’s award-winning renovation of a former power plant in the Menomonee River Valley to its new “City Lights” headquarters. Gosnell has worked for Zimmerman for 12 years. He has been responsible for many of the firm’s health care and hospitality projects.

Banking & Finance

BMO Harris Bank named Matt Hilton premier services market manager. In this role, Hilton will help lead the premier team in southeastern Wisconsin. Hilton has more than 18 years of experience in financial services and previously worked as a district manager at Wells Fargo Bank in Chicago. He launched his career as a branch manager at M&I Bank.

Milwaukee-based Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. has bolstered its diversity and inclusion team with multicultural marketing expert Jose Gomez. Gomez, director of diversity and inclusion, leadership development, will focus on designing and executing diversity inclusion and multicultural leadership consulting strategies. He previously served as senior managing partner of Denver-based bilingual communications and public affairs company Multicultural Solutions, which specializes in multicultural strategies, training and communications.

Ameriprise Financial Services Inc.’s Brookfield office has added Barbara Donaldson as a financial advisor and vice president. Donaldson has more than 30 years of experience as a financial advisor.

GSF Mortgage Corp., of Brookfield, has added Bruce Olster to its corporate team as director of capital market and corporate development. Olster is well versed in managing, growing and financing specialty financial and mortgage companies. He previously served as senior vice president for multifamily warehouse lending divisions at Banco Popular North America in Rosemont, Ill. He also co-founded and led NattyMac, LLC, a mortgage warehouse company focused on single- and multi-family independent mortgage bankers. At GSF Mortgage, Olster will work to expand the company’s capital market, origination and retail channel footprints.

Building & Construction

Jens Construction, of Pewaukee, has added Dan Schneider as an assistant project manager. Schneider has seven years of industry experience and has worked on a spectrum of projects, including military dormitories, multi-story office buildings, concrete parking structures and industrial facilities.

Consolidated Construction Co. Inc., which has offices in Appleton and Milwaukee, has named William Shardlow a project director. Shardlow has more than 30 years of project management experience. In his new role, he will focus on building client relationships, working with the business development team to attract projects, planning budgets and overseeing project teams. He will have a presence in both Appleton and Milwaukee.

Design

Brookfield-based Exhibit Systems has hired Chris Dakins to its project construction team. Dakins, who will serve as a designer and builder, has more than 30 years of experience in the trade show industry. He previously constructed models for architectural, industrial and museum projects while working for Triad Creative.

Education 

The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design has named Vivian Rothschild vice president of development and communications. Rothschild has been a leader at the school for the past eight years. She previously served as interim director of development, starting in December 2013, and has also been director of communications since 2005. Rothschild is experienced in development, communications, public relations and marketing across nonprofit, for-profit and academic organizations.

Insurance

Brookfield-based Diversified Insurance Solutions has added Katherine Kuehn as a customer service agent, property & casualty. Kuehn has more than 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Diversified Insurance Solutions, she was a customer service representative at Northbrook Insurance Associates in Menomonee Falls.

Legal Services

Milwaukee-based Peterson, Johnson, & Murray S.C. has added attorney Michael LoCoco as an associate. LoCoco earned his law degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in Dallas.

Milwaukee-based Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. has appointed Gretchen Cleveland and Eric Lenzen co-leaders of its Agribusiness Team. Cleveland’s agribusiness practice largely centers on transactional services. Katt has assisted clients in aviation and transportation throughout much of his 35-year career. He has defended industry businesses, insurers and individuals sued in civil litigation, including having defended claims against major airlines, charter operators, fixed-base operators, maintenance facilities, flight schools and aircraft product manufacturers.

LaForce Inc.’s Menomonee Falls location has added Jim Martin as a security integrator and project manager. Martin returns to LaForce Inc. from Briggs & Stratton Corp., where he worked as a corporate security operations manager. He previously worked for LaForce’s security integration department.

MRPC, of Butler, has appointed Corey Wentz West Coast business development manager.

Nonprofit

The United Performing Arts Fund has named Lisa Weisman senior director of development. Weisman will handle fundraising efforts in Waukesha County and oversee the Westside and financial divisions of UPAF’s 2015 campaign. She will also work to expand the nonprofit’s geographic reach. Weisman has 25 years of experience in nonprofit development, marketing and leadership. Prior to joining UPAF, she served as director of campaign and corporate development at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. She has also worked in leadership roles for the Zoological Society of Milwaukee and Wisconsin’s first Best Buddies chapter.

The Gateway to Milwaukee has named Julia Dean community outreach manager. In this capacity, Dean will collaborate with members and community partners to promote the Airport Gateway Business Association. She will also focus on building membership and advancing new hospitality initiatives.

Curative Care Network, which operates in Milwaukee and Waukesha counties, has welcomed two new members to its board of directors: Carmen Couden, senior counsel at Foley & Lardner LLP, and Stevens Barney, retired CPA partner. Couden is well versed in best practices related to the Americans with Disabilities Act and has facilitated volunteer legal services to a variety of individuals and organizations. Barney spent more than 40 years in accounting. While working at Reilly, Penner & Benton LLP, he specialized in nonprofit organization accounting. Curative Care Network’s board has 14 members.

He will largely focus on the hospitality market and will also work to strengthen company relations with HVAC industry contractors, distributors and supply chain partners. Additionally, Telkonet has hired Zachary Millis as a member of the direct sales team and Michelle Bansemer as a marketing and sales specialist.

ARI Network Services Inc., headquartered in Milwaukee, had elected Chad Cooper to its board of directors. Cooper is chief executive officer of Digital Offering LLC and has more than 15 years of experience in investment banking and capital markets.

Pewaukee-based TLX Technologies LLC has added Andrew Biehl as a program engineer. Biehl is a recent graduate of Milwaukee School of Engineering. He earned a degree in mechanical engineering, graduated with honors and is experienced in product design.
