Prior to joining 100 Monkeys, Franks worked at the Omaha World-Herald in Omaha, Neb. Pati joins 100 Monkeys with public relations experience with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Wauwatosa, where she gained valuable knowledge in public relations writing, practices and tactics.

The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, Milwaukee, recently announced the addition of John Barnes as the new group sales executive. Barnes joins the Marcus Center marketing team after a long tenure with the Milwaukee Brewers, and served most recently as senior director of ticket services.

Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, The Schwertfeger Group, recently announced the addition of Jamie Delgadillo as a financial representative in their Mequon office.

Gilbane Building Company recently announced the addition of Julie Gehling as project superintendent for S.C. Johnson’s Project Honor in Racine, and Suzy Wood as executive assistant in the Milwaukee office.
Chambers of Commerce
Reginald Hislop, III, president and chief executive officer of The Village at Manor Park, West Allis, was honored by West Allis – West Milwaukee Chamber of Commerce at the Chamber’s annual Gala dinner. Hislop received an award as the director emeritus of the West Allis – West Milwaukee Education Foundation, a foundation he started in 1990. The purpose of the Education Foundation is to raise charitable dollars to support programs which nurture, enhance and provide a quality, tangible learning experience for students in the West Allis -West Milwaukee community.
Consulting
Urban Strategies, Inc., Milwaukee, recently added Bob Berlan to its consulting team. Berlan previously served as the Wisconsin director of Community Planning and Development for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Cornerstone Consulting Inc., Milwaukee, has promoted two individuals on its staff. Erin Zimmer was appointed the director of marketing, and Michael Fix has been promoted to director of operations for the firm. Fix has been with the company for over eight years. The firm also added Sarah Wyman to sales representative to assist in its new business development.
The Stueber Group, West Bend, hired two new staff members to its service team. Debbie Poulakos joined the Stueber team as an administrative support specialist. She has over 15 years of experience working in accounts receivable, accounts payable, human resources and process and procedure development. Kevin Stueber has also joined the Stueber team as the new director of information technology and marketing.
Engineering
Finn Hubbard, recently joined HNTB Corporation as a senior principal engineer for the firm’s Wisconsin operations in Milwaukee and Madison. Hubbard joins the national transportation consulting firm to enhance the capabilities of HNTB’s bridge practice in Wisconsin, the Midwest and nationally. Hubbard has been responsible for statewide bridge design and construction programs. He has also worked closely with the Federal Highway Administration on policy implementation related to structures.
Government Organizations
Steven Kreklow was hired as fiscal and budget director pending approval of the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors. Kreklow replaces Cynthia Archer who has been serving as acting director of the Department of Administrative Services and who will be recommended for permanent appointment as DAS director. Kreklow most recently served as senior manager for the national Government Finance Officers Association.
Health Care
Dr. Michael Kelly has been appointed the new director for the Cancer Program at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. He is also involved in the autologous transplant program, and working on a $1 million Food and Drug Administration grant through the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Kelly is an assistant professor of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/BMT at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Aurora Advanced Healthcare recently announced that Dr. Jayant Khitha, has joined the Cardiology physician staff at the Good Hope Clinic in Milwaukee. Dr. Khitha received his M.D. from Moscow State University of Medicine in Russia. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine through the Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital – University of Chicago.
Advanced Pain Management (APM) recently announced that Joanne Kostowicz Volm has joined the organization as an advanced practice nurse prescriber. Kostowicz Volm practices at APM’s Greenfield and Franklin offices, as well as at the United Medical Center in Milwaukee. She is a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and a licensed Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber and Registered Nurse by the state of Wisconsin.
Rashmi Sood, has been appointed assistant professor of pathology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She joins the division of pediatric pathology and the Children’s Research Institute. Her primary research interest is the study of the vascular bed of the placenta and the mechanism of pregnancy-related cardiovascular disorders. She comes to the Medical College from the Blood Center of Wisconsin, where she was a research scientist. She has authored or co-authored a number of articles in peer-reviewed journals.
Legal Services
Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C., Milwaukee, recently announced the appointment of Traci Mortensen to chief operating officer. Mortensen is the first woman to serve as COO of the firm. Her position was created in conjunction with a new five year strategic plan, which redefines the firm’s goals and objectives. Mortensen previously served as the firm’s director of human resources for nine years.
Professional Organizations
The Arthritis Foundation – Wisconsin Chapter, West Allis, recently announced that George Liberatore, president of Midland Video Productions Inc., Milwaukee, has been named to the National Board of Directors for the Arthritis Foundation. Liberatore has volunteered with the Wisconsin Chapter on committees, was a member and the chair of the board of directors, and he currently serves on the advisory council for the upper Midwest region.
The Port of Milwaukee recently announced that Ronald San Felippo was reappointed to serve on the Board of Harbor Commissioners of the Port of Milwaukee by Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett. San Felippo, who was first appointed in 2000, has been reappointed by the mayor of Milwaukee after each consecutive 3-year term served. San Felippo serves as the chair of the Harbor Commissioners Finance & Personnel Committee.
Jewish Family Services, Inc. (JFS), Milwaukee, recently announced that Amy Biller Daniels has joined JFS as a certified advanced practice social worker in the Counseling and Clinical Division of the agency. Biller Daniels has been associated with JFS since 1978, when she was a student intern. She previously worked as a social worker in the agency’s Older Adult Services Division, and was later in charge of job placement for Russian immigrants. She became a JFS Board member in January 2003.
Real Estate
Inland Companies, Inc., Milwaukee, recently announced that Kathryn Baker has been hired as a property accountant. Baker has more than 22 years experience in the accounting field, with most of her experience in real estate property accounting. Andy Voelker has also been promoted to construction superintendent for Inland Construction. Prior to his promotion, Andy was a technician for Protech, the facility maintenance division of Inland Companies. TJ Darst and Kurt Jones have also been added to the Protech staff as electricians.
Professional Services
Brian Tuchalski has joined the landscape maintenance team at Hawks Nursery Co., Inc., Wauwatosa, as a client representative. Tuchalski has worked in the landscape maintenance industry since 1998, and has a strong background in commercial and residential landscape maintenance.
Technology
Cory Thiel has joined WAGO Corp., Germantown, as product manager – interconnect. Thiel brings substantial depth of electromechanical experience to the position. Thiel plans to draw on his experience with electronics and the non-automotive transportation sector (primarily heavy-duty construction equipment) to strengthen the overall focus on product groups such as fixed PCB Connectors and the Multi Connection System.
