Pawn America to open store in West Allis

Pawn America, a growing Burnsville, Minn. -based second-hand retailer, will open its first Milwaukee-area store in West Allis on Feb. 1.

The store is located at 7530 W. Lincoln Ave. in the former Moline Jewelry & Loan location.

The space has been completely renovated.

Founded in 1991, Pawn America is a leader in second-hand retailing and is known for its many community partnerships and proactive approach to municipal collaboration.

“The family-friendly demographic of West Allis is a perfect match for us,” said Chuck Armstrong, Pawn America community affairs director. “The people in this community want value for their money enveloped in a comfortable shopping experience and that’s exactly what Pawn America offers. We’ve really enjoyed working with the leaders of West Allis who have made us feel welcome from the start.”

The store will employ 12 people.

Pawn America has 25 locations throughout the Midwest.
