Patrick Kelly is the new president of Baer Insurance Services, Inc., Madison, Kelly succeeds Keith Kaetterhenry who will continue with Baer as CEO.
As President, Kelly will lead all aspects of Baer Insurance including personal insurance, business insurance, employee benefits, and financial services. He will be responsible for growth, profitability, and delivering a client experience that exceeds expectations.
“Patrick is an outstanding insurance professional with deep roots in Madison and throughout Wisconsin”, said Mr. Kaetterhenry. “His experience, enthusiasm, and knowledge will be a huge asset as he assumes this leadership role at Baer.”
Kelly is a 25 year veteran of the insurance business. Most recently he was President of Commercial Insurance at Johnson Insurance Services, a division of Johnson Financial Group. During his tenure he helped lead them to impressive growth and profitability achievements.
Kelly is a UW-Madison School of Business graduate with a degree in Business Administration. Patrick is also a regular speaker and author on topics relating to commercial and professional liability insurance.
Since 1928, Baer Insurance Services has been providing quality insurance and risk management solutions for businesses and individuals throughout our region, including several specialty programs focused on property owners, municipalities, food manufacturers and non-profit organizations. Continued development of specialty programs is expected under Kelly’s tenure.
