Olympus Group opens Florida facility

Milwaukee-based custom graphic and mascot manufacturer Olympus Group has opened a new manufacturing facility in Orlando, Fla.
“Florida represents about 25% of our current business and to help us better service our key customers we needed to have a local presence,” said Hayes Holzhauer, general manager of the Orlando facility. “This facility will allow us to reduce logistical costs and provide faster turn times to Florida, while being supported by our headquarters in Milwaukee, one of the largest digital printers in the United States.”
Olympus invested $500,000 in new equipment and technology for the Florida building, its second manufacturing location. The company plans to hire 25 people over the next three years to staff the new facility.
