Oak Hill adds a partner

Brookfield-based Oak Hill Business Partners has added Mike Thompson as a partner.

Thompson has more than 25 years of experience in sales, sales management and marketing communications, most recently as territory sales director at Kelly Services. He will bring sales expertise to the firm, having worked with large and small clients in a range of industries.

“We are very pleased to be able to add Mike to our team,” said Erik Owen, president of Oak Hill. “I’ve known Mike professionally for over a decade. The skill set he brings to us in the area of sales is exactly what we need to build on the rapid growth we’ve experienced over our first four years in business.”

Thompson uses a consultative approach to help business managers identify needs and then caters business solutions to those needs, the company said.

“I see this as an ideal fit for my experience,” Thompson said. “I’ll have the opportunity to play a lead role in Oak Hill’s outbound sales initiative and, in some cases, deliver solutions myself. I’m also very happy that Oak Hill offers services to both small businesses and large organizations. I’ve spent the past 25 years developing relationships with large and small Milwaukee-area companies, so I’m excited about the possibility of carrying those relationships forward.”

Oak Hill provides business sales and M&A advisory, primarily for private businesses with less than $25 million in revenue.
