What has fueled your company’s growth? Our wonderful staff and sales professionals offering their talents and home-grown products and services to a wonderful group of civic, professional and public servants to help make communities stronger. Our recent creation of interactive products and services to compliment our print publications has pushed our revenues higher and increased our clientele.

What is the biggest obstacle to your company’s growth? Our only true obstacle is ourselves. If we continue to stay true to our principle of not over-promising and under-delivering and increase revenues while controlling costs, we should do just fine. The seduction of trying to grow too quickly to be the biggest or spend our way to greatness has been something that we have abstained from while watching our competitors falter.

Do you plan any changes in your company in the upcoming months? More new faces, more opportunities, and an even greater attention to managed growth.

Who are the business people, locally or nationally, whom you admire? And what traits do those people exhibit that make you admire them? Chamber of commerce executives. They serve at the pleasure of an annually rotating board made up of business leaders and must serve among other things as the leader over hundreds and in the largest cases, thousands of member organizations looking to them as their combined voice, their protector, networking liaison, event coordinator and lookout in the crow’s nest for what the local, national and global marketplace will be serving next. Each is just a challenging member or board director away from a lousy day, week, year or unemployment line. The best – those that have lasted over three years in a given area, do it with true professionalism, concern, passion, dignity, and grace. They are special people with amazing endurance and abilities and we are honored to work with them.

J. Mitterhuber and Werner Randelzhofer. Their life-long friendship, integrity and seemingly boundless energy and determination to prosper created our company in 1994 and has set our compass for success ever since.

Also, and as always, all those who have left not just a desk, but friends and family to serve our nation in the military here and abroad. They are the finest among us.

What is the outlook for the business conditions of your industry over the next several months? Positive. Our revenues are up over 20 percent so far this year and we continue to find a steady flow of new business.
