Colleagues say Rajani Madeti enjoys solving problems – the bigger, the better. Madeti, who has served as director of enterprise information systems at Milwaukee Area Technical College since August 2022, is an information technology professional with more than 20 years of experience. She has a knack for identifying underlying problems and implementing technology-based solutions that enable the college to operate more efficiently, said David Rowe, chief information officer at MATC. “Rajani fosters a greater sense of excellence and a continuous improvement mindset through her endeavors as a leader and strategic technology partner,” Rowe said. Madeti recently led an initiative that alleviated bottlenecks and eliminated delays that were impacting MATC’s student registration process. She also led her team and departmental stakeholders through the analysis and planning efforts to modernize the college’s enterprise resource planning system and accompanying digital transformation objectives. In addition, Madeti is fluent in several programming languages and databases and has experience supporting enterprise resource planning applications.
