Fernanda Reikdal Lima, director of IT operations global manufacturing at Glendale-based Johnson Controls, oversees IT operations for more than 100 manufacturing and engineering sites worldwide. She has 23 years of experience in IT, starting from a new manufacturing site in Brazil and advancing to various leadership roles, such as IT manager for Brazil, IT director for Latin America, and IT director for global products, managing a global team of IT professionals. In these roles, she has led IT initiatives such as ERP implementations, data center migrations, cloud transformations and cybersecurity enhancements. She also leads the UNIDOS business resource group and mentors other women in technology. She organizes events and activities to promote cultural awareness, professional development and networking opportunities for the BRG members and the wider organization. In addition to her professional commitments, Lima initiated a program to provide weekend food assistance to underprivileged children at Milwaukee’s United Community Center and volunteers at Bruce-Guadalupe Community School during their career day to talk about cybersecurity and her role at Johnson Controls.
