Marcus Taylor, windchill COE lead at Milwaukee-based Rockwell Automation, has served as board chair of Lead2Change for more than six years.
Lead2Change is a Milwaukee-based career readiness and leadership development organization serving primarily African American high school students living in some of Milwaukee’s most economically challenged neighborhoods, according to Dionne Grayson, co-founder and executive director of Lead2Change.
Taylor has helped strengthen the Lead2Change board by creating and overseeing topic-specific committees, recruiting new board members with relevant skills and demographic representation and “providing support through a critical period of organizational growth that included doubling Lead2Change’s annual budget,” Grayson said.
“For the past six years, Marcus has consistently demonstrated that he is a passionate and innovative partner,” Grayson added. “He has truly grasped the mission of the organization and has taken the lead with providing opportunities that truly help students be successful post-high school. He has been an instrumental ambassador through his engagement with the organization and I can honestly say that the organization is better because he is connected. I am honored that he has taken such a strong role.”
