Lisa Geason-Bauer, president of Nashotah-based Evolution Marketing, is seen as a visionary leader by staff members who say her impact extends far beyond the company.
“With over two decades of experience, she has become a pillar in the Wisconsin community, championing sustainable business practices and social responsibility,” said Leah Steinberg, associate and sustainability consultant at Evolution Marketing, a certified B Corp that specializes in green marketing and sustainability consulting.
Since 2011, Geason-Bauer has been part of the Waukesha-Ozaukee-Washington Workforce Development Board, serving as vice chair from 2019 to 2024. Geason-Bauer also served on the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council board for 10 years. She is also co-founder and current president of B Local WI, a voluntary collaboration of certified B Corps, Benefit Corporations, nonprofits, sustainable businesses and individuals.
“Her leadership has been pivotal in helping these entities create positive change,” Steinberg said.
Geason-Bauer also works with interns, offering experience and guidance in sustainable marketing, and collaborates with Oconomowoc High School, where she teaches about sustainability.
