Katie Kuznacic is a devoted and loyal ambassador of UW-Whitewater, according to Sandy Dunst, board chair of the UW-Whitewater Foundation.
Kuznacic, who earned both a bachelor’s and MBA from Whitewater, serves as vice chancellor for university relations and as president of its foundation.
“Katie is a two-time alumna and has devoted 14-plus years to advancing the university’s mission, while serving in key leadership roles in philanthropy and alumni engagement,” Dunst said.
Under Kuznacic’s leadership, UW-Whitewater has made advances in fundraising, securing transformative gifts to support scholarships, programs and mission-focused initiatives serving first-generation students. That included several seven-figured contributions to vital university areas, including securing in fall 2024 a $2 million endowed chair, the first in UW-Whitewater history.
Kuznacic is currently leading a new fundraising campaign, according to colleague William Broussard, vice chancellor of university advancement at University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. “Her strategic vision and commitment to philanthropy continue to elevate UW-Whitewater’s impact on its students and community.”
