The Spina Bifida Association of Wisconsin Inc. has named David Tucker as its executive director.
Bruce Moon, Ph.D, chair and graduate program director of Milwaukee’s Mount Mary College Art Therapy Department, was awarded the Buckeye Art Therapy Association’s Honorary Life Member Award in recognition of his work and influence in the development of art therapy in Ohio and the nation. Lynne Woehrle, Ph.D., associate professor in Behavioral Science/Sociology, received the “Best Journal Article of 2008 Award” by the American Sociological Association Section on Peace, War and Social Conflict. The award was presented for the article, “Discursive Legacies: The U.S. Peace Movement and ‘Support the Troops’,” Patrick G. Goy and Gregory Maney, co-authors.
