Achiever Literacy Services names new executive director
Milwaukee Achiever Literacy Services, a nonprofit adult literacy and workforce development agency, has named Tracy Loken Weber as its new executive director. Prior to being named executive director, Loken Weber served as programs director for the agency.
 “Tracy was chosen as the next executive director based on her knowledge, experience, and unwavering commitment to the organization’s mission for the past six years,” said Pamela Schopf, board chair. “The board of directors is confident that her expertise and leadership capabilities will help make Milwaukee Achiever the premier literacy and workforce development agency in the community.”
Loken Weber has an extensive background in education, workforce readiness and curriculum development, and instructional technology; experience and skills used to enhance the programming at Milwaukee Achiever. 

The Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare – Foundation for St. Francis and Franklin has added Tom Gagliano, a member at the Skrypchak Group-Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Wauwatosa to its board of directors. Gagliano is a Certified Financial Planner through the College for Financial Planning in Colorado and Chartered Financial Consultant through the American College in Pennsylvania. He has been a vice president at Morgan Stanley since 2004, and has been with the Skrypchak group for 14 years.

Journey House, Inc., Milwaukee, has appointed Barbara Klein, community volunteer, chairman of the organization’s board of directors. Klein has served on the organization’s Board for over six years, most recently in the position of president. She succeeds Daniel Kolb as chairman. Kolb, who served as chairman from 2009 to 2011, will continue his service to Journey House as a general member on the board of directors. The organization also appointed Chris Calvelli of Baird as president and Brian Nelson of I.C.M. Corporation as vice president. Carl Zaar of Marcus Corporation retains his position as Treasurer. All positions are for two-year terms.

Stillwaters Cancer Support Services, Waukesha, has promoted Carrie Ripp to program director. Ripp is a Master’s prepared Social Worker with 15 years of experience.
