The Greater Milwaukee Foundation recently promoted Jedd Lapid as director of development and donor services. Lapid joined the Foundation in 2008 as a development officer. Andrea Bostwick has been promoted to manager of development and donor services after serving as the Development and Donor Services assistant since 2009. The Foundation also recently hired Sarah Berry as development and donor services assistant and Claudia Scholl as events coordinator and administrative assistant.
Families in Society: The Journal of Contemporary Social Services, a professional social work journal published by the Milwaukee-based nonprofit Alliance for Children and Families, has appointed Susan Mason, professor at Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University in New York City, as editor. Mason replaces Dr. William E. Powell, who retired this summer after serving as editor since 2000.
