*Saturday, March 9, the Milwaukee Art Museum will host Yoga @ the Museum from 8:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The monthly yoga session, presented by the museum and omTownYogis, caters to all skill levels. The museum, located at 700 N. Art Museum Dr. in Milwaukee, will open for attendees at 7:45 a.m. Pre-registration is preferred and is available until 5 p.m. today at http://omtownyogis.org/. Walk-ins will also be accepted depending on space. Attendees must bring their own mat. A $15 donation is encouraged to support the museum and omTownYogis’ Annual Grant Fund. *Saturday, March 9, the third annual Grand Slam Charity Jam will take place to benefit Camp Hometown Heroes, a free week-long camp for Wisconsin children who have lost a family member in the U.S. military. The event will be held at Potawatomi Bingo Casino, 1721 W. Canal St. in Milwaukee, and will include a dinner party, a VIP after-party, a silent auction, guest appearances by celebrities like 2012 Miss America Laura Kaeppeler, and a concert featuring performances by country music singer Phil Vassar and American Idol Danny Gokey among others. Concert tickets cost $25 to $40, and tickets for the concert and dinner range from $100 to $500. Tickets are limited. Attendees must be at least 21 years old. *Monday, March 11, Historic Milwaukee, Inc. (HMI) will present “Envisioning the Seen,” an experimental civic discussion focused on the future of Milwaukee. The event will bring together the minds of Milwaukee leaders to open up dialogue about how they see Milwaukee progressing and ways to overcome barriers that prevent the city from reaching its potential. The event will be held at the Pabst Theater, 144 E. Wells St. in Milwaukee, beginning at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m. Admission costs $5 for HMI members and $10 for nonmembers. *Tuesday, March 12, BoardStar Inc. will host a “Board Development 101” Webinar that will focus on the board recruitment process and how to go about finding the right board members who will be most effective for your organization. The Webinar will feature Sara Wilson, a partner and principal consultant in Mayes Wilson & Associates, LLC. The Webinar will run from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. Cost is $35 for BoardStar members and $50 for nonmembers. For more information or to register, visit www.boardstar.org.

*Tuesday, March 12, Life Navigators’ Evening of Friends and Fare will be held at the Boelter SuperStore, 4200 N. Port Washington Rd. in Milwaukee, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The event, hosted by Life Navigators’ young professionals committee and sponsored by Boelter SuperStore, will support the nonprofit’s mission to encourage children and adults with disabilities to lead active lives and connect with their communities. The evening will include networking and food as well as a program featuring nationally known coach and special education teacher John “Chin” Klein. The event is free to attend, but opportunities to contribute will be highlighted throughout the evening. The registration deadline has passed, but interested attendees can call 414-774-6255 or email maggie@lifenavigators.org for more information.

*Wednesday, March 13, the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN) of Milwaukee and the UW-Milwaukee Center for Urban Initiatives & Research will present an education event about how to “Become a Program Eval Wiz.” The event, free for YNPN members and $5 for nonmembers, is suited for program managers, fund development managers and anyone interested in learning how to improve program evaluation and outcome measurement within their organization. The education session will be held at Centro Hispano, 614 W. National Ave. in Milwaukee. Registration, check-in and networking will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by the program at 5:45 p.m. To register, click here.  

*Thursday, March 14, the Greater Milwaukee Foundation will hold the second annual Match Day to raise money for 21 area nonprofits. Throughout the day, individuals can make online donations to any of the organizations involved or to the Greater Milwaukee Foundation’s Basic Needs Fund. Each donation will be proportionately matched, up to $750,000, through a network of community funders. For more information about donating on Match Day and the organizations that will benefit, visit www.matchdaymke.org.

*Thursday, March 14, LISC Milwaukee will present the 14th annual MANDI Awards to community nominees during a ceremony at the Pfister Hotel, 424 E. Wisconsin Ave. in Milwaukee. The awards recognize individuals and organizations working to strengthen Milwaukee’s central city neighborhoods. The event will include dinner, an awards presentation, and a dessert reception and celebration. Dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. with event check in starting at 4:45 p.m. General admission costs $75. A discounted rate of $35 is also available for community residents. Registration has closed, but individuals who have not yet registered may still be admitted according to space.
