*Saturday, Sept. 12, Habitat for Humanity’s Milwaukee chapter will hold a volunteer orientation for individuals interested in giving their time to the organization. Attendees will learn about volunteer opportunities in construction, ReStores and youth programs. Additional volunteer opportunities are available specifically for young professionals. *Thursday, Sept. 17, the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee will hold a workshop focused on what it takes to launch a nonprofit. The workshop, titled “Starting a Nonprofit: Legal Issues and Documents,” will educate attendees about necessary forms attached to nonprofit organizations and specific bylaws that need to be created. The workshop will be presented by Jacqueline Boynton, an attorney at Boynton Law Offices. The workshop will run from 9 a.m. to noon at the Nonprofit Center, located at 2819 W.
