*Tuesday, July 14, “Chill on the Hill” will feature live music performed by Urban Empress and The UrbanItes. “Chill on the Hill” is a free weekly music series that brings live music acts to Humboldt Park in Bay View each Tuesday evening. The music kicks off at 6 p.m. The summer series, presented by the Bay View Neighborhood Association, runs through Tuesday, Sept. 1. *Wednesday, July 15, Hunger Task Force and Pick ‘n Save will band together to facilitate the second annual “All Star Food Drive” during Major League Baseball’s All Star break. The food drive will be held at Pick ‘n Save, located at 2201 Miller Park Way in Milwaukee, and will collect nonperishable food donations as well as monetary donations. Donations will be accepted outside the store from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Prepackaged items will also be sold inside the store for the drive. As part of the event, Pick ‘n Save will host a brat fry from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Additionally, donors will be able to enter a free drawing to win sports prizes, including a Ryan Braun autographed jersey and autographed Brewers baseballs. *Wednesday, July 15, the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network Greater Milwaukee Chapter will hold its “Bi-Monthly Nonprofit Resource Exchange.” The event, part of a bi-monthly series, provides a platform for nonprofit professionals to talk about workplace challenges, share resources and discuss best practices. The event will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Teach for America, located at 700 W. Virginia, Suite 610, in Milwaukee. For more information or to register, click here.
 
*Thursday, July 16, East Town Association will hold another “Jazz in the Park” concert with a double feature. The free outdoor music series, presented by Boston Store and Columbia St. Mary’s, brings live jazz to Cathedral Square in downtown Milwaukee. Concerts are held each Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. The music kicks off at 6 p.m. with a happy hour scheduled for 5 p.m. The next show will showcase the music of Streetlife featuring Warren Wiegratz and No BS! *Saturday, July 18, The Women’s Center will hold its “Summer Evening” fundraiser in support of its free programs and services for women and children overcoming the cycle of violence. The event will include live and silent auctions, jazz music played by Jay Anderson, hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. The Women’s Center suggests attendees wear cocktail attire. The fundraiser will run from 6 to 10:30 p.m. at The Legend at Merrill Hills, W270 S3425 Merrill Hills Road in Waukesha. Tickets cost $150. *Tuesday, July 21, the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee will hold a workshop focused on the kinds of insurance nonprofits need. The workshop will inform attendees about exposures common to nonprofits and the kinds of insurance coverage that can best protect them. Attendees will learn about data breach liability, volunteer liability, directors and officers insurance, and more. The workshop will be led by Jim Wojciechowski, of Marsh & McLennan Agency. The event will run from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Nonprofit Center, located at 2819 W. Highland Blvd. Nonprofit Center members can attend for free. Admission costs $15 for nonmembers.
