*Saturday, Feb. 15, the Fin ‘N’ Feather Sportsman’s Club of Dousman will host the 53rd annual Ice Fishing Jamboree and Fundraiser. The Jamboree will award prizes to participants who reel in the heaviest fish in six different species. Prizes will also be awarded based on an event drawing. Fishing will run from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fin ‘N’ Feather Sportsman’s Club, located at N2765 Hardscrabble Rd. in Palmyra. A portion of event proceeds will benefit the construction of a Fisher House home at the Milwaukee Veterans Center Medical Complex. Cost to participate is $10 in advance and $12 day of the event. *Tuesday, Feb. 18, the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee will hold a free workshop introducing area nonprofits to the free tools and resources of MKE123 Collaborate, an online hub for managing projects. MKE123 Collaborate features tools to support staff work groups, committees and partnership projects with outside organizations. The workshop, led by Laurel Turner of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee, will run from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee, located at 2819 W. Highland Blvd. in Milwaukee. *Tuesday, Feb. 18, the 23rd annual Workforce Career and Internship Fair will be held at the Wisconsin State Fair Park. The fair will serve students who are enrolled in or have graduated from schools under the Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges and Universities. Last year’s event connected more than 1,000 students seeking jobs and internships with more than 100 employers. The fair will run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wisconsin State Fair Park is located at 640 S. 84th St. in West Allis. For more information about participating, visit www.wipccc.org/employers.shtml.

*Saturday, Feb. 22, the Urban Economic Development Association of Wisconsin (UEDA) will host its annual fundraiser, Carnival Milwaukee, at the Zoofari Conference Center. The fundraiser will feature food from more than 24 area Milwaukee restaurants and caterers, live music performed by De La Buena, and a raffle among other activities. Attendees are encouraged to wear carnival costumes and cultural clothing. Event proceeds will benefit UEDA’s work to support organizations tackling issues related to community and economic development. The fundraiser will run from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. The Zoofari Conference Center is located at 9715 W. Blue Mound Rd. in Milwaukee. Carnival tickets cost $40. *Thursday, March 6, the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning will hold a seminar on how to promote and steward planned gifts. The event, titled “Big or Small: Promoting Stewarding Planned Gifts in Any Size Organization,” will cater to nonprofit representatives from all organization sizes and sectors with a panel discussion featuring executives from different types of Milwaukee-area nonprofits. The event, which will also include lunch, networking, and the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning’s annual meeting, will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Italian Conference Center, located at 631 E.
