*Now through Monday, Dec. 31, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee are hosting an online toy drive, the “Click for St. Nick Online Toy Drive,” to benefit children throughout southeastern Wisconsin. Individuals can purchase holiday gifts to be donated to Boys & Girls Clubs members, and area businesses and organizations can purchase gifts or sponsor a Boys & Girls Club holiday party. *Sunday, Dec. 30, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra will come to Milwaukee to perform its Winter Tour. Ticket sales will partially benefit the Hunger Task Force with $1 from each sold ticket going toward its charity efforts. The orchestra will perform two shows at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, 1001 N. 4th St. in Milwaukee. Shows are at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Hunger Task Force staff members and volunteers will also be at the show collecting food and monetary donations. To view ticket availability and prices, click here.

*Thursday, Jan. 3, Target Free First Thursday will grant free admission to visitors at the Milwaukee Art Museum, 700 N. Art Museum Dr. in Milwaukee. Admission is free from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the first Thursday of each month, courtesy of Target. For more information, visit mam.org/calendar/events/.

*Tuesday, Jan. 8, BoardStar will host a workshop focused on Nonprofit Sustainability. The workshop will help board directors analyze their business model and make strategic decisions to ensure the sustainability of their nonprofit organization. The event will cover how to determine the value of programs useful for clients and programs that bring in revenue as well as how to create both mission impact and financial viability among other topics. The workshop will be held at Pathfinders, 4200 N. Holton, Suite 400 in Milwaukee, starting at 5:30 p.m. Cost is $35 for BoardStar members and $50 for nonmembers, and the event will include light appetizers. *Thursday, Jan. 10, Volunteer Wisconsin will host a Webinar focused on “Navigating the Waters of Confrontation with Volunteers.” The Webinar is the third in a series presented by Volunteer Wisconsin. This session will explain techniques for maneuvering uncomfortable situations and confrontations in a workplace environment with volunteers. The session, scheduled for 2 p.m., will be led by Lori Hayes, division manager, volunteer engagement at United Way of Waukesha County. Admission costs $10.
