*Sunday, Dec. 30, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra will come to Milwaukee to perform its Winter Tour. Ticket sales will partially benefit the Hunger Task Force with $1 from each sold ticket going toward its charity efforts. The orchestra will perform two shows at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, 1001 N. 4th St. in Milwaukee. *Thursday, Jan. 3, Target Free First Thursday will grant free admission to visitors at the Milwaukee Art Museum, 700 N. Art Museum Dr. in Milwaukee. *Tuesday, Jan. 8, BoardStar will host a workshop focused on Nonprofit Sustainability. The workshop will help board directors analyze their business model and make strategic decisions to ensure the sustainability of their nonprofit organization. The event will cover how to determine the value of programs useful for clients and programs that bring in revenue as well as how to create both mission impact and financial viability among other topics. The workshop will be held at Pathfinders, 4200 N. *Thursday, Jan. 10, Volunteer Wisconsin will host a Webinar focused on “Navigating the Waters of Confrontation with Volunteers.” The Webinar is the third in a series presented by Volunteer Wisconsin. This session will explain techniques for maneuvering uncomfortable situations and confrontations in a workplace environment with volunteers.
