Nine-year-old blues guitarist, Tallan Noble Latz or ‘T-man’ and his band will play at the Modjeska Theater, 1128 W. Mitchell St., as part of a concert film event on Saturday March 21.

Latz is the son of Carl and Doris Latz of Elkhorn, and received his first instrument when he was three years old. He began playing the acoustic guitar when he was four and has since shared the stage with performers such as Buddy Guy, Jonny Lang, Walter Trout, Jackson Browne, Joe Bonamassa, Greg Koch, Les Paul and others.

Latz has not been able to play at many popular venues due to Wisconsin legislation that prevents minors from performing in “cabarets and saloons,” however the legislation does not prohibit theaters.

The event will begin at 5 p.m. with the Oumar Sagna & Sindoolaa African Band. Other featured artists of the evening include BlueHand, and Sue DaBaco and the Wise Fools.

All four concerts including Latz will be filmed and recorded by filmmaker Nick Rondinelli for release this summer on DVD. For tickets and more information visit www.Ongo-Ongo.com
