Next Newsmaker Luncheon to feature Mone

The Milwaukee Press Club will present a Newsmaker Luncheon featuring University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Chancellor Mark Mone on Wednesday, April 15.

The public is invited to attend the event from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Newsroom Pub in downtown Milwaukee at 137 E. Wells St.
 
Mone was named chancellor of UWM by the University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents on Dec. 15, 2014. A professor of management in the UWM Lubar School of Business, Mone also served as the former chancellor’s designee for strategic planning and campus climate. Mone has been on the UWM faculty since 1989.
 
Mone will discuss the future of UWM and the impact of the proposed state budget cuts. He will be interviewed by a panel of Milwaukee journalists. The event will be moderated by BizTimes executive editor Steve Jagler.
