The public is invited to hear Milwaukee County executive candidate Chris Abele at the Milwaukee Press Club’s next Newsmaker Luncheon.
The event will take place on Thursday, March 17, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Newsroom Pub in downtown Milwaukee at 137 E. Wells St.
Abele will be interviewed at the luncheon by a panel of professional journalists.
Abele, one of Milwaukee’s foremost philanthropists, and State Rep. Jeff Stone (R-Greendale) both advanced through the primary and will square off in the April 5 general election. The Press Club is attempting to find an open date on Stone’s legislative calendar that would allow him to appear at an upcoming Newsmaker Luncheon.
The Milwaukee Press Club presents the Newsmaker Luncheons to shed light on issues of the day. The public is invited to attend the luncheons. The cost to attend is $15 for MPC members, $20 for non-members, $10 for students. Lunch is included. Seating will be limited. Pre-registration and advance payment is required and may be done online at www.milwaukeepressclub.org. For additional information, call 262-894-2224.
