New Pick ‘n Save opens in Delafield

Milwaukee-based Roundy’s Supermarkets Inc. on Tuesday opened its newest store in the Delafield Village Square development, a new shopping center located on 25 acres southwest of Highway 16 and Highway 83.

Roundy’s owns and operates 154 retail grocery stores in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois under the Pick ‘n Save, Copps Food Center, and Rainbow Foods banners.

Delafield Village Square is a 125,000-square-foot shopping center developed by Bloomington, Minn.-based United Properties. Other tenants in the shopping center will include Great Clips, U.S. Cellular, Subway and Papa Murphy’s. In addition, Ixonia Bank has purchased an outlot and plans to build a branch there.

As part of its grand opening party on Tuesday, Roundy’s announced a donation of $2,500 to the Friends of Delafield Public Library.
