New Infiniti dealership planned in Glendale

West Allis-based International Autos Group plans to build a new Infiniti North Shore dealership in Glendale to replace the existing dealership at 1515 W. Silver Spring Dr., Glendale.

The new 17,000-square-foot dealership building will be built at 6030-50 N. Green Bay Ave. in Glendale, about a mile northwest of the existing dealership, south of the David Hobbs Honda dealership and north of the Concours BMW dealership. Three homes and a former auto garage on the site will be demolished.

The new dealership is expected to open next year, said International Autos chief operating officer Tom Dexter.

International Autos bought the Infiniti North Shore franchise last year from Jack Safro’s Automotive Group. The Infiniti franchise occupies a building next to Jack Safro’s Lexus dealership in Glendale. Since the two franchises now have separate owners, the Infiniti dealership needs to be re-located, Dexter said.
