Rutzen brings more than 15 years of experience as a retail property manager to the Glendale outdoor shopping center.

Prior to joining Bayshore, she worked for M&J Wilkow, a Chicago-based real estate firm. She has also filled senior leadership positions for several large retail landlords across the country, including Simon Premium Outlets, Prime Retail and the Westfield Corporation.

Rutzen will help “accelerate the success” of Bayshore, according to Andrea Olshan, chief executive officer of New York-based Olshan Properties, which owns and manages the shopping district.

“Given her depth of experience and high-energy approach to the business, we are thrilled to have Darcy managing the Bayshore Town Center,” Olshan said in a statement.
