Owner Lennora Jules is behind the new semi-upscale eatery, bar and lounge that will serve cuisine from Saint Lucia, Trinidad, Tobago and Jamaica, as well as Caribbean-inspired cocktails. Jules was not immediately available for comment.

Jewels Caribbean will be open Tuesday through Friday, serving for lunch and dinner everyday, with the addition of breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Its bar will be open until 1:30 a.m. on weekends, according to its Facebook page.

The restaurant will hold a grand opening celebration this Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m., according to an announcement.
