Neumann breaks ground on Mequon subdivision

Pewaukee-based Neumann Land Development recently held a ground breaking ceremony in Mequon for Highlander Estates, its latest residential subdivision.

The land was formerly owned by the Mequon-Thiensville School District, and is located between Wauwatosa and Swan Roads, south of Mequon Road. Highlander Estates is comprised of 110 acres that will be developed for single-family homes. Highlander Estates will develop 36 home sites in Phase I, and 75 more in the next two phases.

The site is just north of a 51-acre site that was recently purchased by Veridian Homes LLC, which plans to develop a 51-lot subdivision.

John Kuhn of Siegel-Gallagher brokered the sale of the property to Veridian Homes and said he is also marketing a 63-acre site south of that site.

“There is a lot happening out there,” he said.
