Natural Resource Technology (NRT), an environmental engineering and consulting firm currently based in Pewaukee, will move its offices in June to Milwaukee.
The company will occupy the fifth floor of 234 W. Florida St., in Milwaukee’s Walker’s Point neighborhood. The environmental engineering and consulting firm said the move will provide it with direct access for collaboration to better participate in the area’s burgeoning water efficiency cluster and global hub for freshwater research.
The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s School of Freshwater Sciences and International Water Technology Center (the Water Council’s accelerator building), scheduled to open in July, are both located near the 234 W. Florida St. building.
“It was tremendous news to hear that Natural Resource Technology will become a close neighbor of The Water Council accelerator,” says Dean Amhaus, president and CEO of the Milwaukee Water Council. “This is exactly what The Water Council board envisioned when we set out to build a unique synergy between water technology companies in Walker’s Point. We know great things will happen when you bring great people together.”
