What has fueled your company’s growth? “The employees at Nassco are passionate about serving our customers and providing value. This passion to serve has led to our growth organically as well as through acquisition. We have acquired six companies over the past 15 years, which has expanded our product lines and services throughout all of Wisconsin.”

What is the biggest obstacle to your company’s growth? “We are always looking at how we can reinvest in the business for growth and increased value to our customers. This is a constant challenge as we try to move quickly, but calculated.”

Do you plan to make any changes in your company in the coming months? “Nassco will be undertaking a computer conversion at a recently acquired branch location in Wausau.”

Who are the business people, locally or nationally, whom you admire? And what traits do those people exhibit that make you admire them? “My father and grandfather are two people who I admire. My grandfather started Nassco in 1955 in his home. He had a vision and a drive to make this a successful company while taking significant risk. My father was the next visionary, entrepreneur, and leader for over 40 years, which shaped the company to what it is today.”

What is the outlook for the business conditions of your industry over the next several months? “We are optimistic that our customers’ businesses will continue to grow and strengthen, allowing for more opportunities for us to serve them. We are unique in the various markets we serve and the breadth of our product lines we carry, allowing us to serve a variety of needs.”

What is your company’s most important growth strategy right now? “We have recently acquired two companies and we continue to use that synergy to expand our market presence by providing a larger bundle of products and services to the market.”
