    Milwaukee Mayor TOM BARRETT declared Oct. 2 "DISMAS BECKER Day" in the city of Milwaukee to commemorate the former Dem state representative. Becker, 74, passed away last month after a battle with cancer.

    Attorney General J.B. VAN HOLLEN announced that DAVID LEWIS and RAMON MARTINEZ have pleaded guilty to one count each of voting by a disqualified person after voting in the 2008 election while on periods of active probation for felony convictions in Milwaukee County.
