Mr. B’s Bartalotta steakhouse opens in new location

Tonight, Mr. B’s, a Bartolotta Steakhouse, will reopen at its new location at 18380 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield. The restaurant, which was formerly located in the Stonewood Village at 17700 W. Capitol Dr., will have increased its square footage by about 30 percent, and will have added an outdoor patio, new wine storage cabinet and other amenities.
Mr. B’s was open in its former location for 10 years – when remodeling before the restaurant moved, the restaurant worked hard to maintain some of the elements of its former location.
“Our objective (was) to keep the same quaintness, that same experience that people had but to just add to it,” said Joe Bartolotta, president of The Bartolotta Restaurant Group.
Over the last six weeks, crews have transformed the space that formerly housed Agave, a Mexican restaurant, into the new Mr. B’s. Dramatic changes were made to its ceilings, woodwork, bar, fireplace and other areas, giving the restaurant many of the same qualities that the former Mr. B’s location had.
