The move will relocate about 60 employees from 7800 W. Brown Deer Road to downtown, which continues to attract companies from outlying areas. Earlier this week, Schlitz Park announced the state’s largest wine and liquor distributor, Badger Liquor, plans to move 100 office workers from West Allis to the downtown area.

Monster will occupy  10,346 square feet on the seventh floor of tower one at 330 Kilbourn, located at 330 E. Kilbourn Ave. The company will relocate from about 18,472 square feet on Brown Deer Road.

Bear Construction pulled a $1 million building permit with the city to begin work on the space. Richard Pipek, with Milwaukee-based in.Studio Architecture said the work should be complete for the planned November relocation.

New York-based Monster Worldwide Inc., is the publicly traded corporate parent of employment web site Monster.com. The money that the company spends or takes in from North America comes through Milwaukee through its Monster Solutions Center.

In 2008, the Monster Solutions Center employed about 100 people but has since downsized to about 60.
