Insurance group says bill would raise insurance rates
A recent bill passed by the state Senate threatens Wisconsin’s low automobile and homeowner’s insurance rates, according to the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC).  The state bill prohibits insurers from using credit-based insurance scoring for underwriting. It also does not allow using information from a credit report for rating factors.
