Racine-based thermal management product manufacturer Modine Manufacturing Co. has been awarded business supplying round tube plate fin coils to a major North American appliance manufacturer.
“Modine is honored to be awarded this business,” said Craig Grohman, Modine’s coils business manager. “We look forward to launching production at our coils facility in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, in 2016.”
“This business demonstrates Modine’s commitment to diversification and growth within the commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration market,” said Thomas Burke, Modine’s president and chief executive officer. “With our wide product offering and depth of application knowledge, we have been a leader in the North American coils market for many years and are making investments in order to give us a secure platform to grow.”
Modine did not disclose further details about the program award, citing customer confidentiality requirements.
