Pewaukee-based Mobile Medical Specialists (MMS) has acquired Visiting Medical Doctors (VMD), which has offices in Milwaukee and Waukesha.
MMS provides expert, on-site health care services to people living in long-term care communities, assisted and independent-living communities as well as the corporate environment.
With the acquisition of VMD, MMS will expand its medical services with the addition of “house call” medical services.

The MMS group employs approximately 200 health care professionals to deliver primary care, palliative care, dentistry, optometry, audiology, podiatry and paratransit and psychiatry services in clinic and home settings.
The VMD name will be absorbed into the MMS brand.
