MMAC is a major funder of Republican Governors Association ads

    The Republican Governors Association received more than $717,000 in contributions from Wisconsin donors in the third quarter of this year, including $266,000 from the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC), according to IRS filings reviewed by WisPolitics.com.
    The MMAC has now given the RGA $381,000 for the year.
    Meanwhile, EMM Holdings of Milwaukee pitched $50,000 in the period to the Democratic Governors Association.
    The RGA has been airing ads attacking Democrat Tom Barrett.
    The DGA funneled $500,000 during the period to the Greater Wisconsin Political Fund, which has run ads attacking Republican Scott Walker.
