Neenah-based Miron Construction Co. Inc. plans to open an office in the Milwaukee area this summer.
Miron will open its Milwaukee office in a 10,000-square-foot space in the Mayfair Woods building, located at 10700 W Research Dr., Wauwatosa, in the Milwaukee County Research Park. The building is owned by Wauwatosa-based Irgens Development Partners LLC.
The office is expected to open in July and will ultimately house 15 full-time Miron employees.
“This office is strategically important to us, and will allow us to more effectively serve clients and pursue projects in the Milwaukee area,” said Klaus Lemke, vice president of Milwaukee operations for Miron.
In addition to Neenah and Milwaukee, the company also has offices in Madison, Wausau and Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Miron’s current Milwaukee area projects include: the Milwaukee Job Corps Center, expansion of the Palermo Villa headquarters in Milwaukee’s Menomonee Valley, Hall Imports in Brookfield, the UW-Parkside Communication Arts Building in Kenosha, the Mt. Pleasant Village Hall and Fire Station and a joint fire station between the City of Oconomowoc and the Town of Summit.
