Milwaukee to celebrate at City Birthday Party

The City of Milwaukee’s 168th Birthday Party will celebrate “6 Degrees of Milwaukee: Connected for 168 Years.”

BizTimes invites its readers to attend the annual event, which is one of the region’s best networking opportunities of the year.

The Milwaukee City Birthday Party will take place Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at Bartolotta’s Grain Exchange Building, 225 E. Michigan St. in downtown Milwaukee, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

In honor of the theme “6 Degrees of Milwaukee,” the Press Club will recognize some of Milwaukee’s most well-connected citizens.

The club is asking: who do you tell all your new contacts they should meet? Who is always a mutual friend on Facebook? Who do you see every time you attend an event? Nominate those friends and colleagues for their place in the “Milwaukee 6 Pack – the top six people you should know in Milwaukee.”
