Milwaukee Public Radio moves to Chase Tower

WUWM 89.7 FM, the Milwaukee public radio station, recently moved to the 7th floor of Chase Tower at 111 E. Wisconsin Ave. in downtown Milwaukee. The station is occupying 20,000 square feet of space in the building.
The station began broadcasting from the new location on Tuesday.
During the previous ten years, WUWM operated from of the lower level of the Shops of Grand Avenue at 161 W. Wisconsin Ave. in downtown Milwaukee.
The radio station’s new space has five studios, providing it with additional studio and work space.
WUWM raised the funds necessary to complete the build-out of the new office space and to equip its first two broadcast studios. The station needs to raise more funds to complete the build-out of the other three studios.
