Milwaukee County canvass last remaining in state

    Milwaukee County election officials were still putting the finishing touches this afternoon on canvass numbers in the state Supreme Court race before sending them to the Government Accountability Board.
    They expected to finish up later today. The deadline to turn the numbers in is Friday.
    A WisPolitics.com tally of county canvass numbers compared to the returns collected Election Night by The Associated Press showed David Prosser with a 7,305-vote lead over JoAnne Kloppenburg, with Milwaukee County still out.
    Once the Milwaukee County numbers are in, Kloppenburg will have three days to request a recount.
