Milwaukee Comfort Suites to open on July 1

The new Comfort Suites hotel, under construction on Milwaukee’s far northwest side is scheduled to open on July 1.

The new Comfort Suites hotel, under construction on Milwaukee’s far northwest side at 10831 W. Park Place Drive, is scheduled to open on July 1, said Brian Wogernese, owner of Oshkosh-based WHG Companies LLC, which is developing the hotel, located in the Park Place area, northeast of U.S. Highway 41/45 and Good Hope Road. About 40 full- and part-time jobs are being created by the new hotel, Wogernese said. The hotel is located within walking distance of a Ruby Tuesday, Atlanta Bread Company, Tumbleweed and Sammy’s Taste of Chicago restaurants. The hotel is located near several corporate offices, including the corporate headquarters for A.O. Smith Corp. Comfort Suites is a brand of Silver Spring, Md.-based Choice Hotels International Inc. The only other Comfort Suites locations in the Milwaukee area are in Oak Creek and Pewaukee.
