Twelve assisted living and Alzheimer’s care communities in Wisconsin, half of which are in the southeastern part of the state, were named “Caring Stars of 2015,” a recognition for service excellence based on online reviews from older adults, family caregivers and industry experts on the senior care website Caring.com.
They are as follows:
- Brookdale Kenosha North and Brookdale Pleasant Prairie in Kenosha County
- Harbour Village, Meadowmere & Mitchell Manor Oak Creek, and Oak Park Place Wauwatosa Assisted Living in Milwaukee County
- Meadowmere Northshore in Ozaukee County
- Silverado Oak Village in Waukesha County
The annual Caring Stars list originally launched in January 2012 as the premier senior living reviews award program, helping family caregivers and older adults narrow their senior living options to the best of the best.
