MillerCoors presenting Holiday Lites

MillerCoors will again hold its annual Holiday Lites celebration at the Miller Valley brewery in Milwaukee.

The light show includes more than 300,000 LED lights that dance across the brewery to the tune of holiday music.

Holiday Lites shows will be held every 20 minutes from 4:40 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays from December 6 to December 21. Visitors will receive a free shortened brewery tour, a viewing of the show and beer samples beginning in the visitor center at 42nd and State streets.

The visitor center will also provide holiday discounts and giveaways. And the company is collecting new, unwrapped toys for Toys-For-Tots and non-perishable food items for Hunger Task Force.

“Holiday Lites are a seasonal tradition that the Milwaukee community looks forward to each year,” said Tami Scully Garrison, community commerce and partnerships manager for MillerCoors. “We’re thrilled to bring back this family-friendly show, and we encourage residents and visitors to brighten up their holiday by seeing the Lites in Miller Valley.”

The light show began in the 1950s and was eventually discontinued, but the company restarted the tradition in 2005 as part of Miller Brewing Company’s 150th anniversary celebration.
